Proposes amending Article VI, Section 4 of the Tennessee Constitution to modify residency requirements for judges of circuit and district courts

Changes the local residency requirement from residing in "the circuit or district" for one year to residing in "a county of the respective circuit or district to which the judge is to be assigned" for one year

Maintains existing requirements that judges must be 30 years of age and a Tennessee resident for five years prior to election

Refers the proposed constitutional amendment to the 115th General Assembly for further consideration, as required by the state's amendment process

Directs the Secretary of State to publish the proposed amendment on official state websites in accordance with Article XI, Section 3 of the Tennessee Constitution
