Commends the Grassland Middle School Game Day Cheer Team for winning the 2026 Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Large Junior High Game Day National Championship in Orlando, Florida

The national competition included more than 38,000 athletes from 2,200 teams across 40 states, with teams qualifying through 50 regional competitions in 2025

The team won its fourth consecutive UCA Bluegrass Regional Championship in Lexington, Kentucky, and placed first at Bullet Bash in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, where they were named Grand Champion in the school division

The 39-member team was led by coaches Lisa Wheeler, Erin Schueler, and Jennifer Keith, along with choreographer Kelly Gerleve and skill specialists Malik Briggs, Taylor Lark, and Kyle Sykes

Directs that an appropriate copy of the resolution be prepared for presentation to the team
