Tennessee General Assembly honors Diana Fisher as the 2026 recipient of the John J. Duncan Sr. Award for Senior Advocacy, which recognizes individuals who work to improve the lives of seniors in the Knoxville community

Fisher currently serves as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Operations for Hillcrest Healthcare, leading system-wide growth initiatives and operational performance strategies across post-acute services

Career spanning more than 40 years in senior care, beginning as a nursing home activities assistant and advancing through roles including medical social worker and administrator of 79-bed and 182-bed skilled nursing facilities

Holds a bachelor's degree in social work from East Tennessee State University and has received the Columbia/HCA Caregiving Award

Serves on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence and on the Institutional Review Board for the University of Tennessee Medical Center
