Chapter was officially chartered on March 13, 1926, at Fisk University by five charter members: Hallie Walton Smith, Eloise Lowe Clark, Alyce McCarroll, Jeanne Osby Goodwin, and Anna Jewel Redd

Recognizes the chapter's community service activities including student study sessions, sexual health fairs with Music City PrEP Clinic and Nashville CARES, free STI testing, and scholarship funds for members

Acknowledges notable members including Hortense Golden Canady (national president 1983-1988), Julia Agnes Washington Bond (mother of Civil Rights activist Julian Bond), and actress/comedian Kym Whitley

Designates the chapter as the oldest collegiate chapter in the southern region and commends its 100-year commitment to educational advancement, civic engagement, cultural awareness, and leadership development
