Allows political subdivisions with populations of 75,000 or less that lack a newspaper of general circulation to publish legally required notices through alternative media instead of traditional newspapers

Authorized alternative media includes social media, free newspapers, school newspapers, homeowners' association newsletters, utility bills, direct mailings, and print or digital newsletters

Requires notices to also be posted for at least two weeks on the political subdivision's website in a prominent, searchable location that is free to access without registration

Political subdivisions must hold a public meeting before adopting an alternative notice method and submit details to the attorney general, including which laws require the notices and a link to their website

Takes effect September 1, 2025, with the attorney general authorized to adopt rules and required to maintain a public list of political subdivisions using alternative notice methods
