Allows tenants to submit repair or remedy requests to landlords through an online apartment portal, provided the landlord maintains such a portal and rent is paid through it

Amends Section 92.052(d) of the Texas Property Code to add online portals as an acceptable method of tenant notice for repairs

Written notice for repair requests remains required only when the lease is in writing and specifically requires written notice

Applies only to lease agreements entered into or renewed on or after the effective date

Takes effect September 1, 2025
