Declares void as a matter of public policy any contract venue provision that would require Texas-resident contractors, subcontractors, or materialmen to litigate disputes outside of Texas for real property improvement contracts on property located in Texas

When a venue provision is voided under this law, lawsuits must be filed in Texas in the county where the defendant resides, where the cause of action accrued, or where the subject property is located

Allows parties to mutually agree to a different venue after a dispute arises, even if the original contract venue provision was voided

Applies only to contracts entered into on or after September 1, 2025

Amends Chapter 15 of the Civil Practice and Remedies Code by adding Section 15.021
