Prohibits registered sex offenders with reportable convictions or adjudications for offenses occurring on or after September 1, 2025, from residing within two miles of any public primary or secondary school

Prohibits registered sex offenders with offenses occurring before September 1, 2025, from moving to a new residence within two miles of a public primary or secondary school, though they may remain in their current residence if already living within that distance

Distance is measured in a direct line from the boundary of the residence to the boundary of the school premises

Requires penal institution officials to inform persons subject to sex offender registration about the new residency restrictions before release

Requires local law enforcement authorities to include information about the new residency prohibition when providing registration verification forms to sex offenders
