Creates a new allotment under the Foundation School Program (Section 48.1021 of the Education Code) for school districts to cover costs of conducting full and individual initial evaluations to assess student eligibility for special education or related services

Entitles school districts to receive funding equal to the actual costs incurred for these initial special education evaluations

Requires districts receiving the allotment to report data to the Texas Education Agency regarding costs associated with each full and individual initial evaluation conducted

Takes effect September 1, 2025
