Adds a checkbox option on the informal marriage declaration form allowing either party to request confidentiality of their personally identifying information

Prohibits county clerks from publicly publishing or releasing personally identifying information (addresses, dates of birth, places of birth, social security numbers) if confidentiality is requested, though party names remain public

Restricts the vital statistics unit from furnishing personally identifying information on confidential informal marriage records to anyone other than the parties to the marriage or their legal representatives

Applies only to declarations of informal marriage executed on or after September 1, 2025; prior declarations remain governed by existing law
