School districts must make all healthy relationships education curriculum materials available for public inspection

Parents or legal guardians may request in writing that their student be excused from healthy relationships education without any disciplinary action, academic penalty, or sanction

Districts must provide annual written notice to parents before each school year summarizing the education content, describing curriculum requirements, and informing parents of their rights to review materials, opt out their child, and file grievances
