Requires the Commissioner of Education to periodically review academic accountability indicators and ensure a cut score is established for school districts to receive an "A" rating

Mandates that accountability indicators evaluate districts and campuses on improving student preparedness for subsequent grade levels, workforce, military, or postsecondary education

Requires indicators to focus on reducing and eliminating academic achievement gaps among students from different racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds

Establishes three evaluation domains: student achievement (including standardized test performance and college readiness measures), school progress (measuring student learning improvement), and closing the gaps (tracking achievement differentials among student groups)

Applies beginning with the 2023-2024 school year and takes effect immediately with two-thirds legislative approval, otherwise September 1, 2025
