Adds children of public school classroom teachers to the list of those eligible for free prekindergarten enrollment in Texas

Children must be at least 3 years old and have a parent employed as a classroom teacher at a public primary or secondary school in the state

Expands existing eligibility categories that currently include children who are English language learners, educationally disadvantaged, homeless, children of military members, foster children, and children of Star of Texas Award-eligible first responders

Applies beginning with the 2025-2026 school year

Takes effect immediately with two-thirds legislative vote, otherwise September 1, 2025
