Prohibits the application of glyphosate-containing herbicides on the grounds of public and private schools in Texas

Allows an exception for high schools to use glyphosate herbicides only for crop production as part of an agriculture curriculum or agricultural research

Bans school districts and open-enrollment charter schools from serving food containing six specific synthetic dyes: Blue 1, Blue 2, Green 3, Red 40, Yellow 5, and Yellow 6, as well as substantially similar additives

Applies beginning with the 2025-2026 school year

Takes effect immediately with two-thirds legislative vote, otherwise September 1, 2025
