Authorizes funding for screenings of adverse childhood experiences and anxiety disorders for 8-year-old students, using tools selected by the Texas Education Agency based on mental health professional guidance

Permits use of funds for evidence-based programs addressing bullying, conflict resolution, healthy peer relationships, suicide prevention, and substance use prevention

Allows expenditures on early intervention services (grief, anger, anxiety support groups), treatment programs, family mental health resources, staff training to recognize warning signs, and mental health referral processes

Takes effect September 1, 2025
