Requires the Texas Department of Public Safety to include a sex offender designation on driver's licenses and personal identification certificates for individuals subject to sex offender registration requirements under Chapter 62, Code of Criminal Procedure

The designation must be added upon receipt of a court order issued under Article 42.016, Code of Criminal Procedure

Exempts individuals from the designation requirement if they would have had an affirmative defense under Section 22.011(e)(2) of the Penal Code (commonly known as the "Romeo and Juliet" provision for consensual relationships between minors close in age), if the offense occurred in Texas on or after September 1, 2025

Applies only to driver's licenses and personal identification certificates issued or renewed on or after September 1, 2025

Takes effect September 1, 2025
