Expands the scope of work authorized for master electricians to explicitly include "electrical design work" in addition to all electrical work they are currently permitted to perform

Master electricians retain existing authority to perform all electrical work, including work performed by master sign electricians, supervise other electricians, and serve as master of record for electrical sign contractors

Master electricians may continue to verify compliance with on-the-job training requirements for various electrician license types (master, journeyman, and sign electrician licenses)

Amends Section 1305.153(b) of the Occupations Code

Takes effect September 1, 2025
