Adds "dating violence" to the list of prohibited behaviors in student codes of conduct for independent school districts, alongside bullying, harassment, and making hit lists

Defines "dating violence" as the intentional use of physical, sexual, verbal, or emotional abuse to harm, threaten, intimidate, or control another person in a dating relationship

Authorizes schools to place students who engage in dating violence in disciplinary alternative education programs or expel them, the same disciplinary options currently available for certain bullying behaviors

Requires disciplinary alternative education programs to provide educational materials, resources, and instruction on dating violence and healthy relationships to students and their parents when the offense involves dating violence

Applies to open-enrollment charter schools in addition to traditional public school districts, effective beginning with the 2025-2026 school year
