Declares nondisclosure and confidentiality provisions in any agreement (including employment, settlement, or other contracts) void and unenforceable when they prohibit reporting child sexual abuse to law enforcement or regulatory agencies

Renders unenforceable any agreement provisions that prevent disclosure of facts surrounding child sexual abuse, including the identity of the alleged offender, during investigations, prosecutions, or legal proceedings

Defines "act of sexual abuse" to include offenses such as indecency with a child, sexual assault, aggravated sexual assault, sexual performance by a child, trafficking of persons, and compelling prostitution under Texas Penal Code

Applies retroactively to agreements entered into before, on, or after the effective date, voiding existing confidentiality clauses that restrict child sexual abuse disclosures

Takes effect September 1, 2025
