Requires all Texas public elementary and secondary schools to display a durable poster or framed copy of the Ten Commandments in a conspicuous place in each classroom

Specifies display must be at least 16 inches wide by 20 inches tall, with text legible to a person with average vision from anywhere in the classroom

Mandates the exact text of the Ten Commandments to be displayed, beginning with "I am the LORD your God" and listing all ten commandments

Schools lacking the required displays must accept privately donated posters or framed copies that meet specifications and contain no additional content

Schools with excess Ten Commandments posters must offer them as donations to other public schools that need them

Takes effect for the 2025-2026 school year, with immediate effect if passed by two-thirds vote or September 1, 2025 otherwise
