Creates a tuition exemption at Texas public higher education institutions for children (including stepchildren and adopted children) of peace officers who have at least 15 years of continuous service in a public retirement system

Exemption covers all tuition, fees, and charges but does not apply to general deposits or fees for lodging, board, or clothing

Limits the exemption to the first 120 undergraduate semester credit hours and requires the student to initially apply before age 21 (or age 22 if eligible for special education programs)

Students lose eligibility for any term or semester beginning after they turn 26 years old

Recipients must meet all entrance requirements of the institution, maintain good academic standing, and meet standard transfer requirements when moving from a junior college to a senior college or university
