TEA, the Coordinating Board, and the Texas Workforce Commission must jointly review dual credit health career program curricula to ensure alignment with higher education certificate and degree requirements and allow for credential stacking to reduce duplication

Academic and practicing health care professionals must be consulted during the curriculum review process, with findings and recommendations reported to the legislature by December 1, 2026

Study and review provisions expire September 1, 2027; the act takes effect immediately with two-thirds vote or September 1, 2025
