Adds the United States Space Force to statutory definitions of "armed forces," "veteran," "military member," and "service member" across multiple Texas codes including Education, Election, Government, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Local Government, Natural Resources, Occupations, Tax, and Transportation Codes

Ensures Space Force members assigned to duty in Texas, along with their spouses and children, qualify for in-state tuition rates at Texas public colleges and universities

Extends to Space Force members and veterans the same benefits and protections as other military branches, including exemptions from handgun proficiency range instruction requirements, personal information privacy protections under public records law, and eligibility for veteran-related programs

Includes Space Force in definitions affecting military aviation facility tax provisions, surgical technologist training program recognition, athletic trainer exemptions, and emergency medical services certification reciprocity

Clarifies that these changes are intended to codify rather than alter existing law, with an effective date of September 1, 2025
