Counties must notify plat applicants of missing documentation or information within 10 business days of receiving an incomplete application

Counties with a population less than 850,000 have an extended deadline of 30 days (instead of 10 business days) to notify applicants of incomplete submissions

Commissioners courts or county plat approval authorities must allow applicants to timely submit any missing documents or information identified in the notification

Applies only to plat applications filed on or after September 1, 2025
