Requires day-care centers, group day-care homes, and family homes to submit capacity and enrollment information to the Texas Workforce Commission at least once per month

Mandates the Texas Workforce Commission include this data on its child care availability portal to help parents find facilities with available openings in their geographic region

Information must be disaggregated by age group and include desired total capacity, current enrollment numbers, and available positions for enrollment

Child care facilities must notify the Texas Workforce Commission as soon as practicable after any change in capacity or enrollment status

Effective date is September 1, 2025, with the Health and Human Services Commission required to adopt implementing rules as soon as practicable
