Facilities initially licensed on or after January 1, 2027, must immediately comply with certification/classification requirements to serve Alzheimer's patients

Existing facilities have until January 1, 2030, to obtain the required certification or classification; transitional provisions expire September 1, 2032

Mandates the executive commissioner adopt rules establishing standards for specialized Alzheimer's care and a three-year certification period with staggered expiration dates
