Prohibits school districts and open-enrollment charter schools from restricting access to websites that provide student resources on mental health, suicide prevention, human trafficking, interpersonal or domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, substance abuse, or bullying

Prevents schools from using filtering software to block these specific categories of support and resource websites

Adds new Section 38.041 to the Education Code under Subchapter A, Chapter 38

Applies beginning with the 2025-2026 school year

Takes effect immediately with two-thirds legislative vote, otherwise September 1, 2025
