Grants salary step credit for at least 5 years of experience to classroom teachers, full-time librarians, full-time school counselors, and full-time school nurses who have less than 5 years of actual experience

Eligibility requires the employee to be hired within one year of earning a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate degree

The employee must be employed by the same school district from which they received their high school diploma

Applies only to district campuses located in counties with a population of 150,000 or less, targeting rural and smaller communities

Takes effect beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, with immediate effect if passed by two-thirds vote or September 1, 2025 otherwise
