Municipal utility district (MUD) boards must designate one or more meeting places inside the district boundaries for conducting board meetings

Private residences or offices may serve as meeting places if the board declares the location a public place and invites public attendance

Boards may designate meeting places outside the district only if no suitable location exists inside, the outside location is as close as practicable to district boundaries, and residents retain reasonable opportunity to attend

Districts wholly within a municipality's corporate limits must hold any outside-district meetings within that municipality's corporate limits

Boards designating meeting places outside the district must file a resolution and justification with the commission and publish notice in a local newspaper; the commission must post process information on its website
