Prohibits public libraries, including public school libraries, from using public money to become members of the American Library Association

Bars public libraries from spending public funds to attend or participate in any training, conference, or event sponsored or held by the American Library Association

Prohibits any direct or indirect financial support of the American Library Association using public library funds

Applies only to expenditures made on or after the effective date, with an exception for funds required under contracts entered into before the effective date

Takes effect September 1, 2025
