Courts with jurisdiction over landlord-tenant disputes must include categorized case information in their monthly reports, covering eviction suits, utility disconnection disputes, repair and remedy suits, security deposit disputes, unlawful lockouts, and security device issues

The Office of Court Administration must publish landlord-tenant dispute case data on a publicly accessible website in a searchable format by date and jurisdiction

Published case information must include the court and location where the case was filed, whether the defendant has legal representation, whether the plaintiff has legal representation, and the case disposition

The Texas Judicial Council is authorized to adopt rules implementing the reporting requirements and may designate additional categories of landlord-tenant suits to be reported

Takes effect September 1, 2025, with court reporting requirements beginning after the Texas Judicial Council establishes categories and procedures
