Allows health maintenance organizations (HMOs) to waive a group contract holder's liability for premiums when notification of an enrollee's eligibility termination is received late (after the end of the month eligibility ended)

Permits insurers offering preferred provider benefit plans to similarly waive group policyholders' premium liability for individuals whose termination was reported late

Premium waiver is only permitted if no covered services were provided to the individual after the end of the month in which their eligibility terminated

Amends Sections 843.210 and 1301.0061 of the Texas Insurance Code

Takes effect immediately with two-thirds legislative vote, otherwise September 1, 2025
