Changes the professional title "licensed specialist in school psychology" to "school psychologist" throughout Texas law, including the Occupations Code, Education Code, and Government Code

Updates the composition of the mental health task force to include one school psychologist (previously "licensed specialist in school psychology") as defined by Section 501.002, Occupations Code

Maintains the definition of "mental health professional" for loan repayment assistance purposes, with school psychologists eligible for up to $40,000 in state repayment assistance

Requires one member of the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists to practice as a school psychologist under Section 501.260

Takes effect September 1, 2025; passed the House 109-22 on May 10, 2025, and the Senate 31-0 on May 28, 2025
