Repeals Sections 711.008(g-3) and (g-4) of the Health and Safety Code, which provided exceptions allowing cemeteries to be established in certain municipalities and counties

Removes references to subsections (g-3) and (g-4) from the list of exceptions to cemetery location restrictions near municipalities

Maintains existing restrictions prohibiting new cemeteries within 1-5 miles of municipal boundaries, depending on population size (ranging from 1 mile for cities of 5,000-25,000 to 5 miles for cities of 200,000+)

Effective date is September 1, 2025
