Requires privately owned recreational vehicle parks and campgrounds offering transient overnight stays to comply with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1194 Standard for Recreational Vehicle Parks and Campgrounds, 2021 Edition, excluding Sections 1.1.1 and 5.1.1.1

Applies only to private facilities, not those owned or controlled by state agencies or political subdivisions

Prohibits governmental entities from adopting regulations on environmental health, sanitation, electrical safety, LP gas safety, or fire protection that are more stringent than the NFPA 1194 standards

Provides a grace period for existing RV parks and campgrounds operating before the effective date, requiring compliance by September 1, 2026

Takes effect September 1, 2025
