Removes personal identification cards issued by the Department of Public Safety from the list of acceptable photo IDs for voting, leaving only driver's licenses and election identification certificates as valid DPS-issued photo IDs

Eliminates utility bills, bank statements, and paychecks as acceptable supporting documents to prove voter identification

Retains government documents showing voter name and address (including voter registration certificates), government checks, and certified birth certificates as acceptable non-photo proof of identification

Maintains existing acceptance of U.S. military IDs, citizenship certificates, passports, and handgun licenses as valid photo identification for voting

Takes effect September 1, 2025
