Eliminates the countywide polling place program (Section 43.007 of the Election Code), which previously allowed voters to cast ballots at any polling location within their county on election day

Reduces the maximum number of student election clerks permitted at a polling place from four to two, removing the exception that allowed four clerks at countywide polling places

Removes references to the countywide polling place program from electronic poll book certification requirements and real-time data update rules

Preserves early voting provisions, explicitly stating the bill does not impact early voting locations or prevent voters from casting ballots at any branch polling place during early voting

Takes effect September 1, 2025
