Health and Human Services Commission must prepare a written report on Medicaid eligibility determination time frames for each state fiscal year beginning with the year ending August 31, 2018

Report must include for each fiscal year: total applications submitted, total approved and denied within required time frames, total approved or denied outside required time frames, and reasons for denials

Report must provide average and median number of days between application submission and approval/denial decisions for each fiscal year

Report must include total pending applications as of the report date with elapsed days since submission, and the longest processing time for any application across all fiscal years

Report due to governor, lieutenant governor, speaker of the house, and legislature by December 1, 2026; the act expires December 31, 2026 and takes effect September 1, 2025
