Allows hydrogen-fueled vehicles to exceed standard weight limitations by an amount equal to the difference between the hydrogen tank/fueling system weight and a comparable diesel tank/fueling system weight

Sets an absolute maximum gross weight cap of 82,000 pounds for hydrogen-fueled vehicles or vehicle combinations, regardless of the weight allowance

Effective date is September 1, 2025, but only if federal legislation or regulation is enacted authorizing hydrogen-fueled vehicles to exceed federal weight limits on interstate highways

If no federal authorization for hydrogen vehicle weight exemptions is enacted, the bill has no effect
