Amends Section 4102.007(a) of the Texas Insurance Code regarding the applicability of public insurance adjuster regulations to commercial and residential property insurance policies

Removes eligible surplus lines insurers from the list of insurer types covered by public insurance adjuster contracting provisions when Texas is the insured's home state

Retains applicability to six types of insurers: capital stock insurance companies, mutual insurance companies, county mutual insurance companies, Lloyd's plans, reciprocal or interinsurance exchanges, and farm mutual insurance companies

Effective date is September 1, 2025
