Requires judges to provide written notice to defendants discharged from felony community supervision that they may be eligible to register to vote under Texas Election Code

Requires the Texas Department of Criminal Justice to provide written notice to inmates and state jail defendants who complete their full sentence, including any parole or mandatory supervision period, about potential voter registration eligibility

Applies only to persons who fully discharge their sentence (including incarceration, parole, supervision, or probation) on or after the effective date

Takes effect September 1, 2025
