Requires school district threat assessment teams to immediately notify educators who may be directly affected when a threat is made against their campus, including threats made via social media

Notification to educators must include a statement that a threat exists, the specific language used in the threat (if applicable), the nature of the threat, and any pertinent details to ensure student and staff safety

Allows district employees who report potential threats to a threat assessment team to elect to keep their identity confidential, exempt from public information disclosure except as necessary for investigation

Requires districts to maintain records of employees who elect confidentiality when reporting threats

Takes effect September 1, 2025
