Adds a new category of municipality to the list of cities authorized to use hotel occupancy tax revenue for hotel and convention center projects under Section 351.152 of the Texas Tax Code

The newly eligible municipality is defined as one with a population of 7,000 or more that contains Lake Marble Falls (referring to Marble Falls, Texas)

This amendment allows the qualifying municipality to pledge hotel tax revenue for construction, expansion, or renovation of convention center facilities and related infrastructure

The bill takes effect immediately if passed with a two-thirds vote of both legislative chambers, otherwise it takes effect September 1, 2025
