Renames "personal bond office" to "personal bond or personal bond and pretrial supervision office" throughout Article 17.42 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, formally recognizing expanded pretrial supervision functions

Authorizes commissioners courts or judicial district judges to direct these offices to provide pretrial services similar to those offered by community supervision and corrections departments, including drug and alcohol testing

Expands office duties to include indigent legal services monitoring (assisting with applications, reviewing eligibility documentation, coordinating with appointed attorneys)

Allows offices to provide pretrial rehabilitative services and mental health coordination, including recommending testing, monitoring compliance with mental health requirements, and assisting magistrates with mental health orders

Grants office directors and authorized employees access to criminal history records from the Department of Public Safety at no charge for persons being considered for personal bond or receiving services, with restrictions on disclosure limited to judges, magistrates, prosecutors, and defense attorneys
