Prohibits polling places from being located on campuses of public primary schools, secondary schools, or institutions of higher education unless the campus is closed for operation during the entire voting period

Adds a definition of "institution of higher education" to the Election Code, referencing Section 61.003 of the Education Code

Maintains existing prohibition on locating polling places at residences of candidates for elective office or their close relatives

Takes effect September 1, 2025
