Schools and public libraries must submit annual reports on public concerns to the Texas Education Agency or Texas State Library and Archives Commission, which will publish the reports on their websites

Non-compliant school districts and charter schools face withholding of state funding under Chapters 46 and 48 of the Education Code; non-compliant public libraries become ineligible for state funding
