Reduces the required journeyman plumber experience for master plumber license eligibility from four years to two years

Maintains the alternative pathway allowing licensure with only one year of journeyman experience if the applicant has completed a U.S. Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship approved training program or other nationally recognized apprentice program accepted by the board

Requires the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners to adopt rules to implement the changes as soon as practicable after the effective date

Applies only to master plumber license applications submitted on or after September 1, 2025; applications submitted before that date remain governed by previous requirements
