Expands Texas self-defense law to create a presumption of reasonableness for using force when someone unlawfully enters any building or vehicle where the person is lawfully present, not just their own habitation, vehicle, or workplace

Extends the same expanded presumption to the use of deadly force under Section 9.32 of the Penal Code, covering situations where a person is forcibly removed from any location where they are lawfully present

Maintains existing requirements that the person claiming self-defense must not have provoked the attacker and must not have been engaged in criminal activity beyond minor traffic violations

Applies only to offenses committed on or after September 1, 2025; prior offenses remain governed by existing law
