Allows reappointed deputy constables to continue performing duties before retaking the oath, provided they retake it as soon as possible after reappointment

Establishes that deputy constables serve at the pleasure of the constable, who may revoke an appointment upon the deputy's indictment for a felony

Makes it an offense punishable by a fine of $50 to $1,000 for a person to serve as a deputy constable without proper written appointment
