Prohibits public school teachers from promoting or encouraging students to use gender pronouns other than those matching their sex, dressing as the opposite sex, or changing their name for gender-related reasons

Bars teachers from discussing, promoting, or educating students about transgender lifestyles, gender transition treatments, gender fluidity, or the concept of more than two genders

Prohibits teachers from providing students with information, resources, or connections to LGBTQ organizations

Authorizes school districts to terminate teachers who violate these prohibitions, and violations constitute grounds for suspension or revocation of teaching certification

Creates a private cause of action allowing parents to sue teachers for violations, with potential compensatory or punitive damages; waives teachers' standard immunity from liability for such lawsuits

Applies beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, with an effective date of September 1, 2025
